  Overview:   Lake District, meaning the land of lakes is in the Cumbria county of England. We visited Lake District on the way back from our trip to Scotland, though the weather was not so pleasing with rains and fog all around. Apart from visiting a few silent places around the Lake District, we took a small hike to the Aira Force waterfalls. Fortunately, the rain had stopped and the hike was pretty easy with beautiful surroundings. True to its name, the water falls from a height of 66 feet with roaring noise. It is believed that this place has been the hunting place of the Duke of Norfolk.         After our return from the falls, we decided to move on towards Manchester for our Old Trafford stadium visit, the home of Manchester United football team's home ground.   Overview: Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland, is one of the most visited cities in the UK. We walked around the city to get a flavour of Belfast. Recovered from the 'Troubles' in the 1990s, the city has emerged as one of the best cities of the world. We can still see the murals from those times on Shankill Road. There is a 60 feet wall which separates the Catholics and Protestant areas. One of the main attractions of Belfast is the Belfast Castle dating back to 12th century built by the Normans. The Castle built on the slopes of a hill overlooks the city. Belfast is also known for the Titanic, which was built in the city’s docks before starting its fateful voyage from Southampton in 1912. Belfast also boasts of a rich musical culture with many Irish bands based out of Belfast.         . Overview: Wales is known for its vast open space and its natural beauty. We set off to Breacon Beacons National Park for some caving experience. We started our drive from London and after covering a few places on the way, we entered Wales and were greeted by amazing countryside. We saw several castles on either side of the road, and some lovely lakes and waterfalls. The following day we started towards the caves at the Brecon Beacons National Park. We were briefed about the safety norms and were asked to wear the caving suit. We had a nice guide who was very friendly and explained about the geology of the caves. The caves are known to exist from several million of years and have been used by the pre-historic men as well. At some places it was so dark that its impossible to see without a torch light and there were alternate routes so it was very important to be in sync with the guide.
